Blueberry Cobbler and Wyatt...

It seems our son Wyatt has a preference for Blueberry Cobbler! This is what happens when you leave one to cool on the counter at our house:

If anyone has lived in (or even visited) Texas then you know the weather can be very unpredictable here! If you don't like being cold just wait a day...it will be hot. It's been raining here off and on for about 2-3 weeks. When there is a break for the day between storms everyone is trying to mow their yards, but with all the rain the ground just isn't sucking it down like it usually does and we all end up mudding on our mowers! Here is our front yard right now!Here is our back yard!It's horrible! We can't play outside or do anything! Tom gave up on using the mower and started using the weed eater to at least knock the tall grass down right around the house.

So...everyone out there who is in another state...please start doing your rain dances again. I really want this to go away so if you do your rain dances it will leave here and come to you!!! Right?!?!?

Melanie Plays Softball!

Melanie decided to play softball this year! It's her first year and I have spent several Saturdays busing the girls between their games! Here are some great pictures I got (with my new camera lens) of her playing this past Saturday. They won their game! YIPEE!

Last week I found these beds on Craigslist and Tom was wonderful enough to drive the 2.5 hours to pick them up! We (Brandy, Tom, & I...with the P/T help of Chris) spent the last 2 days painting the boys room and heres what it looks like...

We are going for a camo/camping/hunting theme. I am going to put another green sleeping bag on Colton's bed. I think it looks nice!

Tom wasn't sure about the green, but I think it looks good...and he wasn't there to pick out another color so...lol...

Long Time...No Post...Right??!!?

Man...I thought I had posted SOMETHING in the last 3 months, but I guess I was dreaming AGAIN! Right now, with school, watching kids, and making pies I'm a little pre-occupied! It's been NUTS around here! School is keeping be busy, the kids are keeping me fit, and the pies are...well...I guess it's a good thing I don't like coconut right?!?!? LOL...

The kids are growing like weeds around here...
